We’re enlarging our back-end force with these new additions

Dimebox's new back-end developers

Like any true tech start-up, we focus on building our solutions in-house, and we’re constantly expanding our development team. That’s why we added two new back-end developers to our back-end force this month! Together with our other new team members we gained another two very skilled and valuable additions to the Dimebox crew.

Jerome Shapiro

While always interested in software engineering, Jerome didn’t start his career in that direction. He studied Sound Design and Audio Engineering in London first, starting a career in music as a freelancer. While he spent his time writing and performing music with his band, his interests shifted back to software engineering, as development and its creative possibilities became a growing part of Jerome’s life. He eventually took a first job as a software engineer, and after collecting some experience in the field he finally came to Dimebox for some fresh challenges. So far Jerome really likes the commitment and dedication of his new team members. Creating solutions for complex problems together in a team is what makes him come to work excited. We’re happy to have him as a back-end developer with a new perspective in our team.

Pratik Agarwal

Completely new to Amsterdam, our new colleague Pratik is already settling in and finding his way around. Holding a degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Pratik became a JavaScript and Node.js enthusiast early on. And it is exactly this enthusiasm that is still part of his drive to build great solutions. Pratik developed a certain feeling for secure applications which is a very important trait when working at a fintech company. His rock-solid knowledge and intuition help him to aim for the smartest and most optimal route to his development goals. He’s excited about building next-gen payment tech and driving the infrastructure at Dimebox to a higher level.
